Data retention

Choose how long your activity history remains available in the app.

Data Retention is your history setting. It controls how much past activity you want to keep and see in Agent Approve. It is not a statement about a separate Agent Approve company retention period.

Open Settings > Privacy > Data Retention and choose 1 Day, 1 Week, 30 Days, 90 Days, or 1 Year. Events older than the selected period are removed during the daily cleanup.

30 Days is the default in the recommended installer setup.

Shorter retention limits the amount of activity available in your app. Longer retention gives you more history for reviewing agent work.

Changing the setting does not restore events that have already aged out. Lowering it can make older events unavailable after cleanup runs.

Data retention is not key retention

Data Retention controls whether an event remains in your history. Key Retention controls whether your device still has the encryption key needed to open an encrypted event. An event can still be listed but be unreadable if its old key was discarded. See Encryption keys, rotation, and recovery.
